The Moonknights

Summary

The Moonknights were the Moonkeepers greatest paladins and she hand picked them personally. They fought countless battles for The Moonkeeper and upheld her tenants effortlessly. The Moonknights were lead by the great Holy Moonknight and was The Moonkeepers most devote follower. Some say that he was created for the sole purpose of serving The Moonkeeper. According to the few remaining accounts of the Moonknights, they eventually found a legendary artifact in the center of the Eldin forest. Shortly after they found the artifact, the Moonknights were all lost in a great battle. Some say they were defending The Moonkeeper herself, others say the artifact drove them mad and only one survived.

The priests and priestesses of The Moonkeeper tell tales of the Moonknights and deeds they committed. Most talk about how they were all vanquished in a great battle defending The Moonkeeper herself. Other, more cynical members of the religion say that an artifact drove their leader mad and they slaughtered each other for control of the artifact.
