Personal history

Kemal was born in the city of Batria, his father was an affluent merchant that wanted him to follow in his footsteps. Kemal was not particularly against becoming a merchant, but song and dance were always his passions. He did what he had to do to please his father, and in return, he got the lessons he so much wanted, he learned to play a variety of instruments and he learned how to dance all the styles. He also found a love for the martial arts, he found out that fighting was very similar to dancing, the only difference was that his partner wanted to stop his flow, instead of working with it.
When Kemal reached his young adult years, he had already become a competent songwriter and dancer, his training in fighting also had turned his body into a spectacular sculpture of a Greek god. He turned head wherever he went, and soon he was being paid massive amounts of money to perform in the taverns and clubs of Batria. He enjoyed the attention he was getting, but at the same time, it distracted him from perfecting his crafts. He also had his father to contend with, true Kemal was making great amounts of money, but the family business was more than just money, it was about pride, honor, and tradition. His father was expecting him to start taking a more active role in the family business, but Kemal refused, for the first time in his life he defied his father.
Kemal's father was absolutely outraged, he tried to force Kemal to do his part, but it only served to get Kemal more convinced of his position. Seeing no other way out, his father threatened to disown him, when that didn't work he had no choice but follow up on his empty threat. With a heavy and regretful heart, he disowned Kemal and moved on to his second son. Kemal was hearth broken at losing his family, he had always put them above everything else and the thought of not being able to visit them made him depressed. He thought about apologizing, he thought about obeying his father and returning to the fold, but if that was the price he had to pay to take control of his life, he would pay it. Kemal kept working as a performer in the city, he had little need to work for long to find work, but he longed to try new things. He eventually was dancing as a stripper in the Red Griffon, here he found a way to connect all the sides of his craft, his body, voice and dancing skills all coming together in one beautiful performance. For a while, he thought he had found himself, but eventually, even that became stale.
Kemal eventually decided he wanted to go outside of the city, for a couple of years he toured the nearby cities, making performances in all of them. His name became even more famous and he attracted even more attention, but that was not what he was looking for, his work started to feel stale, he could no create new songs and dances like he used to, his audience didn't seem to mind, but he minded, he wanted to create things that were new and exciting, he eventually realized that he had an entire aspect of himself he had not explored. Kemal joined the Adventurers Guild, he figured that by putting his life in danger, and exploring the wilderness of Noramadia he would be able to find new inspiration, also he would be able to rub shoulders with the greatest heroes in the region, and at the same time he would be able to improve his musical and martial skills.
