Troll Warrens

The Troll Warrens are a subterrannean complex of caverns connected by a small collection of corridors. The entrance to the lair is marked with piles of fragmented humanoid bones, picked clean of muscle, tendon, and marrow. Upon investigation, the caverns appear to be home to a coven of Hags and their "pet" Troll. Several rooms within the caves were occupied by small groups of human prisoners, each of whom were attacked on the road between Briarwood and Scabberdale. After questioning the prisoners and vanquishing a mighty Hill Giant, the party learned that Grunbad Kazarak was also held here for a short time, before picking the locks on his manacles and escaping.
