She speaks to Grady and is informed that Oren Ironhold or the Draco Zodiac Knights and Saul Vanhorn of the Scorpius Zodiac Knights arrived in town proclaiming her family were party to the murder fo Prince Rigel and of the late King Hyperion. As such they decree them traitors of the Realm. They killed and/or apprehended teh entire household. Thekla is told that at least her father is alive, but only because he is set to be publicly executed in just a few hours. Grady, the grizzled war vet who served her family before retiring, convinces her to runaway and leave. He is taking her to the Temple when she stops at her home. She grabs a few mementos (her mother's rosary, an Opal that glows in the moonlight, and her brother's journal that appears blank). She did find and save Nana Velasco. She does not watch the execution. She swears herself to the Divine. Father Cordero aids her in leaving to the Storm Owls. She ends up on a ship that travels all the way from Swiftport to Raven's Watch.Octavius
The family celebrates the ascension of his sister Phyrra to Matron Mother. But his eldest daughter Lythrana goes into a jealous rage and is subsequently punished after her outburst when Miz'ri, her yournger sister is named her new predecessor. Octavius later visits Lythrana. He tries to comfort her and offers again to aid her in getting stronger, but she is not receptive. He stops to pray to Vaerhaun. After the family's magic is gone and he barely escapes home, he is spotted in the streets. Which he very much wanted to avoid for appearances sake. After searching months for Lythrana, he manages to find trace of her having been at the topside settlement of drow called Telnarquel. It is run by Xundus of house Marret. They also, worship Vaerhaun and are guided to help Octavius. Thus they send him to the Storm Owls.Sprite
Goes through all of the shit and fails the roll to find Badger's swords. SHe does set traps around the keep and cleans it up, but the traps are terrible (nat 1). She leaves a general note for Badger about where she isAust
speaks to his mother, Shava Hanali. She tells him the Elders are concerned about his Father's interest in the Nexus. It is making them uneasy and she wants Aust to disuade his reasearch or even kill him she doesn't care, but to solve this problem. Aust finds a notebook with scribbles about Irven Harpell (dad) witnessing a red glow that would be the Nexus. This is alarming because it should always be magically cloaked. He talks to his father about the whole situation and his father "agrees" to leave it be for Aust. Aust does not check his honesty....He informs his mother of the updated situation. He visits Runa and helps her with some of her experimentation. She talks about some ancient texts she found exploring a hidden ruined temple and how during her attempts at translation she is slowly learning about Automatons. Aust talks to his father about helping him with his research and learning more. His father tells him he is not knowledgable enough to help, but they end up agreeing to send Aust in secret away to learn more. He sends a note to Runa saying he will be occupied for a while with his dad so not to worry, but doesn't tell where they are going. He is not supposed to ever leave. The Vales and Nexus are huge secrets not to be shared.Rewards Granted
