Character Arc

Introduction

A young martial warrior with a touch of magical abilities.  Thekla is a human female originating from the Minor Zodiac House of Unicornus.  Her family is well known and respected especially within their home town of Northpass.  They have a great reputation and also some jealousy aimed their way as well. The Unicornus family are fine horse men and women.  Theirs are considered some of the finest steeds in the region.  Especially their War horses.  Thekla recently went to the Asteri Academy for training in her magical abilities.  While there she overheard a plot about the death of the king and prince.  By none other than the Asteri themselves!  Or at least 2 of them.  Thekla flees and sends word to her family, praying she can let them know the truth before it's too late.  Her absence has been clearly noticed and in response her entire family is executed for their "treachery"  Thekla swears herself to the Divine to gain the skills, support, and ability to avenge her family and right other wrongs such as what befell her own family.

Ice Claw Mountain Path

Northpass was initially created as a stronghold for the main path through the Ice Claw Mountains.  This path led through to the kingdom of Isoden.  After multiple wars, This range was magically blocked by ice, fog, and snow.  It has been centuries since it was passable.  As such, the Path is not as guarded as it once was and the town slowly morphed into the training grounds and DUmmera Academy of the Elite

Diety

Thekla worships the Divine.  There are 7 Arch Angels assosicated with The Divine as the main generals under Him.  They are:

• Michael
• Gabriel
• Raphael
• Uriel
• Jerahmeel
• Sariel
• Raguel

The Divine unlocked the angelic genes within Thekla after she swore herself to become His Champion.  The Tears Of Michael were what Thekla drank as part of the ceremony.  Historically, Micahale's Tears can create angels.

Unicornus Family

Thekla is from a minor House of the Zodiac Knights. Their colors are a steel blue and silver.

Northpass

Northpass is where Thekla originates from. It is in the NE of Valdemar. It contains the prestigious Dummera Academy of the Elite. This is where the BEST go to hone marital skills. Many Zodiac families send there children here and/or the Asteri Aisle for exceptional training. The Zenith Temple is also located here. It is a temple that represents whorship for almost all dieites of the realm.

Dummera Academy of the Elite

Located at ther apex of the town, Dummera commands attention from it's imposing and organized structures.  A massive coourtyard takes center stage.  Drills and battles are conducted here.  Formations are also held here.  Ringing the Circular courtyard are multiple barracks and buildings for the students.  There is a large multistory, also circular building at the back of the courtyard.  This is the Garrison.  It holds the commanding officers, instructors, classrooms, messhall, med bay, and storage/equipment.  In front of the Garrison is a large wooden platform for the higher rank to preside above.  Most students are from prominent families though anyone can attend.

Zenith Temple

A large tower made of modest rough stone from the surrounding mountains.  A wide stone bride spans the gulf from Northpass to the Tower.  Multiple penants show multiple deities.  This is a temple for multiple deities and worship.  The inside is also modest.  It has lots of alcoves and receiving rooms.  Again lots of different iconagraphy.  However, this place infuse with magic.  The lower and upper levels are only accessible to the different priests and priestesses.  There are multiple doors, all different colors patterns and images detailed into them.  They repreesnt the different faiths.  Entering that a door will take you to a magically infused space that appears a larger than possible temple.
