There were Ten of us who survived, but only the nine of us call themselves The Archons and play this game of God’s. My hate for them is unmeasured, if not for The Ancient One's laws I would be the first to challenge them and try free this world from their Tyranny.
Not all of them are responsible for what happened, I know that well enough, yet they are using this cursed power to shape the world into their likeness, by doing that they are equally rotten like those who are responsible for the extinction of our race…
The Librarian
Originally there were 10 Atlantians that survive the Cataclysm, the event that destroyed Valenerde and the entire Atlantian race, Nine of them become Archons, one turned his back on them but eventually has been appointed by The Ancient One to record every event in Valenerde History and become The Librarian.
The Orgins of Archons
The Archons were originally Atlantian scientists, they were part of the Atlantians Faction who decided to split from the Atlantian Galactic Empire, and search for The Ancient One, a God that was responsible for creating Atlantians in the first place. After thousands of years, they managed to locate the being that was the Ancient One. The Ancient One permitted them to settle on Valenerde, his newest creation. They shared the planet with another race that has been created by The Ancient One, Seraphs.
The Ancient One shared some of his knowledge with The Atlantians, but as time passed the Dark side of them started to manifest more and more, Greed, Jealousy and other negative emotions plagued both Atlantians and Seraphs leading to war that decimated the planet. In their effort a group of scientists wished to use a technology provided by The Ancient One, they created Deus Ex Machina that would allow them to wield similar powers as The Ancient One. The experiment failed...
When the scientists turned on the Deus Ex Reactor they were unable to stop it, soon after it went critical creating a massive explosion that destroyed the entire continent inhabited by the Atlantians, but the biggest disaster was yet to come, just before the explosion the Deus Ex Reactor generated massive energy wave, a wave that spread over the entire galaxy, killing every single Atlantian in the Universe. Their life energy was converted into Ether that was pulled back to the generator, giving scientists that were in proximity of explosion the overwhelming power.
Only ten Atlantians survived.
The Ancient One was disappointed, he felt responsible for the death of the entire civilisation and his disappointment turned into anger. He bound the souls of the scientists responsible for an explosion to Valenerde, imprisoning them in this desolated world, he turned to Seraphs who started the War and branded them, traitors, he created a separate world and imprisoned them in Abyss. Lastly, he turned towards Seraphs who stayed neutral and honoured his wishes, he tasked them to keep watch over and created a world known as Elysium, but did not bound their souls to it, Seraphs from Elysium were allowed to freely leave their world as they wish.
After that, The Ancient one left, left as far as he could from this "mistake" to start again and create another world, this time a perfect one...
Time passed and scientists gathered and decided to rebuild their new home, or prison, like some of them call the Valenerde, they split responsibilities among each other and focused on a specific aspect of the world.
