Character Creation
For this campaign, roleplay is going to be very heavy. This means that when creating your character you must think about several things before it will be accepted.
1. The Variant Human is banned. Instead every player character gets 1 feat and 1 extra skill of choice at 1st level.
2. You roll for your ability scores. This will be done in a private session with the DM. You can reroll 1's once.
3. The use of homebrew content can be allowed at the DM's discretion. This includes but isn't limited to spells, subclasses, items etc.
4. Alignment is seen as a guideline for your character's morals and ethics. It is important to think about alignment and what it means to you, but the DM will not hold it against your character if it does something out of alignment.
5. When creating a character you have to add at least each of the following:
7. Roll for gold according to the rules in the PHB for your class. Use that to get your equipment.
8. It is possible to create a Lycanthropy character.
9. Background features can and will be used. Example: You have the Wanderer background. You know the terrain of where you hail from, however you do not automatically know all terrain in Valerouros. You understand new terrains that are similar to the terrain that you hail from, giving you advantage on Survival checks. However, you need to learn the geography of new terrains first before being able to use your Wanderer background again.
10. You are allowed to create your custom background using one of the following formats:
