Accountant

A good accountant is a debit to his profession.
— Charles Lyell

Accountants love numbers. They have a knack with numbers and make a living out of their skill. Maybe they work at the town hall counting coins, keep a prominent noble’s money in order, or cook the books for a criminal organization.   Accountants are often like bookworms, cloistered in their room, uncomfortable in society, introverted and shy. Usually, they love precision, calm and an orderly life. At a time, some want originality in their lives, and decide to chuck everything.

Traits

d8Accountant Personality Trait
1Although I am great with numbers, my social life is lacking, I have very few friends.
2I worship even numbers and believe that odd numbers are the devil.
3Keeping logs is how I am able to keep track of everything.
4No one else is able to count as well as I can. I let them know it.
5Although I try to act normal I am constantly adding things up in my head.
6I really enjoy logic puzzles and will seek them out.
7I have researched numbers and their uses, although others may find this weird I have discovered a great new way to categorize items and catalog things making me famous to librarians.
8In my town I am known for my skills with numbers and this has made me many friends, especially nobles and merchants.

Ideal

d6Accountant Ideal
1Order. Through organization and planning we can accomplish great success.
2Selfish. I use my skills with numbers to accomplish my dreams. Who cares about anyone else?
3Trustworthy. Through my experience dealing with money I have learned that trustworthiness outweighs any amount of gold.
4Deceptive. I have learned through my experiences that coin is much more valuable than someone’s trust in me.
5Steady business. It is best not to take from others but you need to watch out for yourself as well.
6Smug. Logic and numbers makes you better than others. Those who do not understand this get what is coming to them.

Bond

d6Accountant Bond
1I really enjoy collecting a certain item (pick an item i.e. coins, books, bones, etc.) and would do almost anything to get my hands on a missing piece.
2I am superstitious and honestly believe that my lucky coin has saved my life many times, I have even named it.
3I was asked to invest money for a dirty politician, he was found dead and the murderer was never caught. I am careful to never mention this out of fear of putting those I care for in danger.
4I will become the best mathematician that ever lived. No one will stop me!
5After seeing the luxurious life of nobles and royalty I have vowed to become the wealthiest of them all.
6The nobles in my hometown are very fond of me and believe me to be a wizard with numbers.

Flaw

d6Accountant Flaw
1Every thing must be divisible by two. I hate odd numbers and will do anything to make things divisible by two. If there are 5 kobolds in a battle and I kill one I feel much better because now there are an even number of them left.
2I enjoy counting out loud the number of enemies I have slain in each battle.
3People that can’t comprehend math are obviously idiots and I let them know.
4I will test those around me whether it be giving bartenders the wrong amount of money to see if they catch it to randomly throwing out a pop quiz every once and a while.
5Spending so much time counting has given me a mannerism that occurs when I have not counted anything within an hour.
6I think that numbers are the root of all evil, I count them to exploit them and foil their plot.
