The bastion is a knight or warrior who has chosen to devote their life to protecting others, whether it be traveling lords, ladies, and kings, or simple common folk and family. Each guardian learns from their mentors the method of forging the Bastion's Call, an amulet fused with magical energy. With thorough training of heart and body, the bastion becomes an immovable wall, guarding those they stand by. This comes at a cost, however, as bastions more often than not sacrifice themselves for their allies.
