Darkvision

There are a variety of ways to acquire darkvision. It comes naturally to some species, but it can also be acquired magically for others. A creature with darkvsion can usually only see a limited area before their vision fades completely. Darkvision enables creatures to see in darkness as if their vision is impaired only slightly, they are able to see in the dark as if it were dim light. Oddly enough, darkvision enables a creature to see only in grayscale.
