Dhoraxis
Demigod of Blight
Dhoraxis remains the only known demigod not born of the actions of Ades the Mad. Legend has it that Dhoraxis was created by Khydar the Unnatural, who inflated the bladder of a green dragonborn shaped it into Dhoraxis and imbued it with life. Not only androgynous, but entirely lacking sex organs, Dhoraxis' purpose has always been to extinguish life wherever it is found, specifically plant life.
At 9' tall and boasting the large horns of an ox, Dhoraxis could be mistaken for a large minotaur at a distance, but anyone foolish enough to get close can see the draconic appearance between the tattered clothing and rotting leather bandolier commonly worn by the demigod. In their normal form, any non-sentient plant life that Dhoraxis touches instantly withers and dies. Sentient plant life transforms into the horror of an undead plant to fill the ranks of Khydar's undead hordes. Slow moving, sluggish and prone to long periods of hibernation, Dhoraxis also shuns populated lands for the most part. The blight caused by the demigod is noticeable mostly for a change in migration patterns or an influx of animals from one area into another as they seek new food sources.
At the rare convergence of new moons with the appearance of the evening star, Dhoraxis transforms into a fifty foot high ox-like creature that spews poison and destroys the area that they are in, plant and animal life alike. Dhoraxis has the power to obliterate life on Valine left unchecked, and the gods keep a close eye on their movements, intervening where damage could prove too devastating. For now, however, their self-isolation away from populated areas and limited bursts of activity are containment enough. For now.
