Dragon Scale Armor

Dragon Scale Armor is usually formed out of the scales that have molted from dragons. Dragons  are one of the most powerful creatures in the world, and their scales are incredibly tough. They are also resistant to the specific breath weapon of the dragon it comes from. Armor made from scales taken from a recently slain dragon are used to make more magical armor, but such an item is exceedingly rare, since slaying a dragon is no small task and dragons rarely die of natural causes in an area where their scales can be harvested in time.
