Quagbred
Quagbred anurid are rarely seen in densely populated areas, preferring to roam marshes and wetlands. Their evolution is closer to that of their buffonid cousins, and they have more of their forebears' abilities than other anurid.
Quagbred compete with buffonid for hunting grounds, and their usually good natures are replaced by bitter animosity. Between tribes of the two peoples, skirmishes can be brutal, destroying whole towns. At the moment, the matriarchs of seven quagbred tribes are conspiring to enlist the help of other tribes in an effort to eradicate the buffonid.
Prehensile Tongue
Quagbred use their tongues as though they are an extra appendage. As a bonus action you may extend your tongue up to 25 feet to manipulate an object, open an unlocked door or container, stow or retrieve an item from an open container, or pour the contents out of a vial. You may not use your tongue to attack, activate magic items, or carry more than 5 pounds.
