Ring of Genie Summoning

Rings of Genie Summoning are magical rings with the ability to call a specific genie imprisoned in an extraplanar pocket. The summoned genie will serve the owner of the ring until either the genie is destroyed. The ring reverts to its original state following the genie's demise. Certain rings impose a restriction on the number of times the genie may respond to the owner's requests before the ring magically teleports away from the owner's location and becomes discoverable to another owner.
A genie may either be released from captivity by the ring's owner or be freed by a powerful magic user. If the ring is destroyed, the genie will remain in his extraplanar prison until it dies.
