Woodland Gnome
Woodland gnomes are, in general, leaner, faster, and stealthier than other gnomes and they have a natural affinity for illusion. As groups they are somewhat more secretive and value their privacy, though they often settle close to other rural communities, using inventive trickery and illusions to conceal their homes from their neighbors, or to cover their escape if detected or threatened. They tend to be friendly with other good natured woodland dwellers, particularly with Fair Folk and Feytouched. They regard those who care for nature as natural allies and befriend small forest animals, maintaining a network of such beasts to inform them of any information about local happenings and potential threats.
