Silverpeak Pegasus

An extremely rare variety of pegasus, found only in the Silverpeak Mountains of The Kingdom of Vallanna. Seldom domesticated, even compared to other wild varieties of pegasus, the species is thus a highly sought-after prize in the eyes of many.
Luckily, the myriad valleys and mountain ridges of the Silverpeak Mountains provide plenty of places for the species to hide from would-be trappers and hunters, and the species has developed an extremely skittish and wary nature, when it comes to interactions with most humanoid species.

Basic Information

Anatomy

Much like other varieties of pegasus, the Silverpeak Pegasus can be broadly described as having the body of a horse, with a pair of large, feathered wings growing from just to the rear of the shoulders, where the front legs meet the spine. The majority of the species exhibit a mottled grey and brown colouration to both their coat and wings, which allows them to blend into their natural surrounding environment of the mountain vales and clefts of the Silverpeak Mountains.

Dietary Needs and Habits

Vegetarian by nature, the species main source of food is the grasses and bushes which grow in the lower valleys and amongst the sparse trees of the region.
