Faerie Kobold
Terrifying little creatures born from the union of a faerie dragon and a kobold. They combine the worst of both, resulting in a kobold with innate magical abilities. They are often shamans in their clans, serving as the right hand to the faerie dragon that leads their community. Standing between 3 to 5 feet tall, coming across them can be quite a shock to persons unfamiliar with their kind. At first, they may seem like oversized kobolds, or pintsized dragonborns (which they are, in a way!) but the longer one looked, they would quickly realize they were in a league of their own kind.
Usually, faerie kobolds and their tribes are found in the feywilds, but they can be found in the Kingdom of Rizex and the Weodon Lands of Anarchy. Rizex’s darker atmosphere suits them, and many faerie dragons are from the Unseelie Court. Additionally, the wild chaos of the Anarchy Lands are also favourable due to their love of deadly traps. But, this does not mean faerie kobolds cannot be found elsewhere. They go where their queen goes, after all, and faerie dragons can be found in any forests where travellers frequent. Why? Great pranking targets!
They have an intense hatred for chromatic and metallic dragons as well as dragonborns. This stems from the fact that these creatures do not consider faerie dragons to be true dragons. And the gods help anyone who disrespect their queen.

Tiny But Mighty
While they lack the butterfly wings of their fey ancestors, they carry their color changing scales as they grow stronger, moving through all the colors of the rainbow. They also have long, prehensile tails, along with the faerie dragon's innate spellcasting ability, and breath weapon. Faerie Kobolds had the faerie dragons puckish behavior, but combined with a kobolds love for cunning traps resulted in a creature that was adapt at making malicious, morbid and dangerous pranks. For the Queen!
Located high within the trees of vast forests of Batun, usually around places that would become portals to the Feywilds during the Brightest Night, are where faerie kobolds make their settlements. These clans were often overly large, similar to villages. They were not limited to only kobolds and faerie kobolds, but pixies, sprites, and other fey creatures. The clan was headed by a female Faerie Dragon, with a select few faerie kobolds and fey as her personal guard. She would be worshipped by the kobold portion of the clan, often praising her as a goddess. She lead the clan well, and praised her kobold subjects for their merriment and trapmaking skills, and teaching them magic. She was usually benevolent, encouraging the clan to strive for self-sufficiency. In turn, the clan provided protection and offerings to their queen. Along with endless entertainment.Hatred for True Dragons
During the Great Dragon Wars, many faerie dragons fled back to the Feywilds. The ones that stayed chose to fight alongside the inhabitants of Batun, taking their clans to war. It is because of this why many faerie kobolds harbor a deep hatred for their draconic cousins, often preferring the company of the fey, kobolds and other faerie kobolds.Faerie Kobold Traits

Skin flayed but healing, fingertips missing on his left hand, and a whole eye gone from his head. The stranger took a long drag from his cigar and released a foul smelling cloud of smoke. He set his disdainful gaze at the young adventurers before him, and the once lively bar went as silent as the grave. A long moment past before he finally spoke. "There is nothing more insufferable, more cunning, and more dangerous than the offspring of the trap-loving, torture happy kobolds... And the mischievous pranksters, faerie dragons. May whatever gods you hold dear have mercy on your soul if you were ever so unfortunate... as to stumble into their territory." The party burst into uproarious and insolent laughter, looking around and perhaps expecting the rest of the bar to join in as they did before, enjoying the fun and joy these foreigners brought. But they did not laugh. Not even a chuckle. For every man, woman and creature here bore scars of the faerie kobold's 'pranks.'— Xiran Shie, The Feywileds: Tales from a Lost Child.
