Created by individuals or small dedicated organizations, these items are some of the most deadly in the world as they put an immense amount of destructive capacity into even the most mundane persons hands. Each weapon is handcrafted as there is no standardized way to create one of these weapons. Instead some are so plain in design that they look completely mundane to others being flashy & gaudy representing some innate desire to be seen and noticed. All that matters is that these weapons remain within the realms of sparse knowledge as their mass production has the capacity to change the nature of warfare.

Utility

Most known uses and encounters with such weapons are for the sole purpose of obtaining revenge of individuals or organizations by people they wronged. Few are carried by people who would seek to do good in the world and use them right wrongs and fight for justice/order. Other have been seen the hands of those that would labelled antithesis to a peaceful society.

Access & Availability

Use and availability of these items is extremely rare with only singular individuals having access to them in any significant capacity. Some small orders are said to exist in the world where they have created and maintained a small arsenal of such weapons that allow to undertake the goals and directives they have set forth.

Complexity

Firearms are extremely complex to build with the barrel and various components needing to be exact crafted so that they do not misfire or malfunction. The simplest of versions are prone to misfires due to improper testing and metalsmithing but as they increase complexity, the chances of misfire decrease with the results becoming more devastating as a correlation.

Discovery occurs by sporadic moments of genius by individuals or the steady safeguarding of the craft by small, secluded organizations that use the knowledge to promote their own mysterious goals.
