Chance of Rain

Vice Chair Charales Chance of Rain of Westinland Albion

Vice Chair of the Astronomers Guild, avid student of astral divination, and premier practitioner of arcane magics in Albion. Considered by many Fauns to be the most elligible single in the city, but Rain has so far remained unfettered.

Physical Description

General Physical Condition

Chance of Rain is a full-blooded academic: pale, not in great shape, and weak eyed. Fey is also a bit fat and has a particularly nice pair of horns.

Facial Features

Rain has a very pretty, round face, just a few freckles, a small nose, and very long, tightly-curled ram-style horns.

Mental characteristics

Gender Identity

Faunish (fey/fen/feir)

Employment

After a short stint as a professor, Rain now works difectly for the Astronomers Guild full-time. While the Chair represents the guild at various events, shakes hands, runs meetings, and signs paperwork all day, Rain as the Vice Chair sees to most of the actual logistic work of running the guild.

Rain's own studies and interests often distract fen from feir work; it's not unusual to encounter feir assistant running about the old lakefront looking for fen.

Personality Characteristics

Personality Quirks

Chance of Rain keeps a small, living pond in feir office, with a good deal of their namesake charales algae and a few other plants. It often attracts insects, which fey considers a feature, not a nuisance.

Social

Family Ties

Chance of Rain is quite close with feir local family, the Westinlanders, and with the rest of them, at frequent odds with the extended family, Border Elidian. Neither branch is considered "high class" or particularly influential, but Rain is sure to acknowledge them (even the Border Elidians) in social situations.
