Fishers Guild
The Fishers Guild is among the less centralized, more laissez-faire guilds, and is focused more on simply keeping its members satisfied than on long-term goals or negotiations with other guilds. Their saying, "so long as there are waters, and so long as there are fish," is frequently employed, even outside the guild, to convey: Don't worry, this will work itself out and everything will be alright.

Career Progression
For the most part, fishers will apprentice on whatever boat has room for them, and continue to work on that boat until they retire. If they seem to have "a knack" for it, the boat captain may train them in that part of the work, and leave the boat to them upon the captain's own retirement.
The exceptions are Guild Reps. Each area has one or more Guild Reps, depending solely on how many people seem needed to handle the work. Their job is to hear the complains and concerns of the area fishers, and address them as best they can. If a captain doesn't pay their crew, or keep their boat in repair, or sails in too rough of weather, they can count on a visit from their Rep.
Guild Reps are nominated by their predecessors, and voted in by the guild members at large during their Anuthsfest celebrations. Any member can call for a vote to dis-instate them at a future Anuthsfest, and though this is not a particularly rare occurrence, it is quite rare for such a vote to pass.
Guild Reps generally flag their station by way of a fishhook piercing one of their ears, and will quickly build a reputation in their area even beyond the good repute needed to attain the position. Depending on their style, they may use intimidation to bully captains into compliance, or manipulate, bargain, and bribe their way to popularity. However they manage it, if they keep the workers happy and the fish coming to market, they are a success.
Perception
Social Status
Fishing is a dirty, smelly, painful way to make a living... but it's a living. Fisherfolk tend to be very proud of their work, and often take it personally should any of their children enter a different guild. Few outsiders, however, would be thrilled to see their children take an apprenticeship on a fishing boat.
Demographics
The make-up of the Fishers Guild depends heavily on location, but almost everywhere, it is heavily inclusive of goblins, and particularly mountain goblins.
The Albion chapter also has a high proportion of dogfolk, and some fauns. Meanwhile, Anchor Falls has more humans and almost no dogfolk.
