Lore Keepers

Among the The Ciar - Kob, Fae, and Gnomes there are individuals who record and keep great repositories of knowledge.  Their libraries contain the journals, histories, textbooks, cookbooks, and other manuals of humans, Eldar, Vergar, and others the Cia have worked for in order to gain the knowledge. 
In addition, Ciar record their own information in translucent semi-precious gemstones which can only be read by Ciar and some Eldar who have earned the trust of these people.
Lore keepers are directly responsible for the greatest Ciar magic, and the locations of them and their libraries are closely guarded secrets.  Few people even realize lore keepers exists outside of the Ciar.
