Vathcar

Vathcar is a tribe located near Kelvin’s Cairn in the mountainous rocky area. It is easy to tell if one is from Vathcar as they have yellow painted rings around their wrists like bracelets. The people from this tribe are great at moving about in rocky areas and hunting animals that live on the rocky slopes. The heads consist of anyone able to hunt and move well amongst the rocks and snow. Those who cannot such as children, elderly, or injured are left out of affairs and to tend to the camps. The clothing tends to be lighter with less layers for mobility, but does not lack insulation for warmth. The favored weapon is a bow as hunting is a heavy influence, but most people also carry clubs or hammers. Sometimes the clubs or hammers are used to put an animal out of is misery if the arrows are not fatal. The people don't see outsiders in a terrible light, just as weak. The cities are seen as an undesirable place which weakens those within. When one wishes to take a mate they will speak with the elder member of their close family and make a series of agreements to arrange a year-long courtship. If, after a year, they still share the same desire, they are considered mated for life. When a member of the tribe has died, often their hair will be shorn and a lock of hair will be given to each remaining family member. After this, a hole, equal in depth to the persons height, will be dug and they will be buried.
