The Rolling Stone
You see a massive hollowed out boulder sitting on the edge of town. Rough windows have been carved through, with dim lights emanating from within. Moreso than the rest of the city, there is a vibrance and life within its walls.
The rancor and smell of inebriation floods your senses as a Goliath rolls the stone door out of your way on approach. "Welcome", he grunts with a brash smile, "To The Rolling Stone."
Named for the massive circular stone that serves as its door, The Rolling Stone is the largest and businest tavern in Caiir. Frequented by historians and scholars who wish to seek the blessings of the Cairn before studying the region, it is a hub for mercenaries and intellectuals alike. Those Cairn who lack attachment to the misery of their parents often visit in hopes to offer their knowledge of the Rock Plains to those seeking to traverse it. Many who leave in this capacity don't come back, having found a foothold elsewhere in Astagua.
With food and drink aplenty, it is at the very least the most welcoming stopover on one's way through the area.
