The Step Right Inn
Apart from its clever name, the Step Right Inn doesn't stand out from any other tavern or inn in Astagua. The floors are always a bit dirty, the ale always a bit flat, the beds always a bit uncomfortable, and the food always a bit stale. In that regard, perhaps it is different in that there's almost nothing right about the place; in fact, just the opposite: everything seems a bit off.
Cyhric, the owner, blames it on a curse from long ago. Not a curse on him, per se, but rather a curse on the land that the inn was built on. The idea of such an oddly specific curse, and in such a specifically inconvenient capacity, actually lends credence to the idea in Cyhric's mind.
Others aren't as convinced, and just attribute the oddities to the way he runs the place. Be that as it may, Cyhric frequently asks guests if they'll do anything about the curse.
