Long Toothed Moles are the common companions of dwarves. They are extremely common underground and feed on the mushrooms that live there. They have extremely large claws and teeth which they use to dig tunnels through the rock. Their teeth are capable of biting through stone, and then they use their strong arms to push it away. The moles are about dwarf sized but can't be ridden. They're mostly blind with extremely primitive eyes that can only detect light. Their skin is tough and leathery, and they're notable for not having fur. The moles are seen as quite ugly by some people, but to the dwarves, they're extremely useful and treasured.
Love to see other people who use the prompt challenges to flesh out their flora and fauna. Very cute.
