The Mezkh d'Naimat were a group of dwarves who worshipped the Breathstealer. They often visited areas full of noxious gas and believed that the monster spoke to them while they were there. They set up shrines inside of these caverns and near pools of still water that they believed the Breathstealer inhabited. Very little is known about them, and they were often outcasts from the rest of dwarven society. The one settlement which is believed to have belonged to the Mezkh d'Naimat sat near the border of the Deeplands. There was a shaft where warm air rose up, and standing over it for a few minutes gave the dwarves a euphoric and drunk feeling along with hallucinations of the Breathstealer. However, they all died by sacrificing themselves to the Breathstealer, and their perfectly preserved remains lay at the bottom of a frozen lake known for its pillars of frozen bubbles.
