Personal history
Pelleas was born at a time when tensions between the Silvarra were still very tense with the Awenmont Empire. Due to the longevity of the Silvarra, in comparison with that of the Drokken and Besurn, the invasion of Yorespire was still a fresh memory.
As such, Pelleas grew up quite wary of the "new" people in their land, but despite the hardship that their rule created, as Pelleas reached adulthood, he had found in himself some sort of sympathy for the people who lasted so briefly. The Empire's aggression, he came to convince himself, was due to their frailty. As such, they worked to maintain a friendliness with the Drokken and Besurn that they encountered in their everyday life. During their first Lutene'al , they decided they would devoted their life to healing and bridging the barriers between their people and the Awenmont Empire. Shortly thereafter they joined the temple as an acolyte to Luunala. They worked as a healer for the temple for many years, making their way through the hierarchy for the priesthood until at last, with the passing of the former high priest, they were nominated into the position.
Pelleas' impact on the temple was dramatic. No longer was the temple only visited by Silvarra, Pelleas worked on bringing healers to the sick. This quickly raised the temples status and soon even the Besurn and the Drokken were coming to the temple. Within a matter of months, he had caught the eye of the Duchess, Lauren Rhinna. She invited him the her and her husband's manor and the three of them became close friends. While the The Awenmont High Council found this irksome, due to the Silvarra's influence on the Duke, they we wary of trying to force the situation to change. Due to Pelleas' popularity among the common folk, they feared that removing him from the public would be met with a strong backlash.
This popularity proved to be a boon when the Duke was ousted after a series of accusations of corruption and embezzlement brought forth evidence. Much to the chagrin of the High Council, Pelleas was made interim successor, a duty they did not want. Ultimately, they named Inabella Thealia, another Silvarra, the true successor. The High Council was swift to try and stop the decision, but once more, the love that Yorespire had for Pelleas made the situation difficult.
In the years that have passed since, Pelleas has continued to act as a close advisor to the Duchess, but has refocused much of their attention back to the temple and expanding their reach.
Education
Like most Silvarra, Pelleas had little formal education. Most of their learning has come from their family and the temple. His friendship with the former Duke and Duchess also proved a valuable opportunity, giving them access to their library that contained rather extensive medical documentations. This also afforded them the opportunity to study under the tutelage of the Arachacdium, the Empires official organization dedicated to the study of majick.
Employment
Pelleas, while they have performed alternative work, had remained steadfastly devoted to the art of healing and their work within the temple.
