Executor
The third public face of the Voice are the executors — Kindred who, very simply, travel to a locale and Get Things Done. If Monomacy must occur, a meeting held between rival political factions, a grand celebration thrown for an elder’s elevation to Prince — whenever anything important or highly visible or vulnerable to accident must be organized, one or more executors will be sent to ensure everything goes smoothly. There’s a modern term never used by The Invictus for this kind of operation: “micromanagement.”
Executors are roamers to make sure that they stay objective, rather than getting too involved in their tasks and the politics of the local court, which is probably just as well. The local Kindred organizers and workers who have their authority taken away by an outsider quickly learn to resent the decisive, comprehensive, intrusive style The Invictus train into their executors. A surprising number of “regrettable accidents” happen to outsiders who linger after the task is completed.
