Generic .45 ACP Autoloader

World of Darkness - Armory
Prior to the explosion of the popularity of the 9mm Luger, .45 ACP was the dominant autoloader caliber. Literally hundreds of manufacturers produced weapons chambered for this round, many of which were loose or patent-bending copies of the archetypal Colt M1911A1. Many shooters still prefer .45 ACP over any other handgun caliber, and new .45 designs appear monthly. Capacity usually ranges from six to 12 rounds, with seven as the standard.
Examples: Beretta Cougar 8045, H&K USP (Capacity 12+1), Ruger P90, SiG-Sauer P220 (Capacity 7+1), Smith & Wesson 4500 series, Taurus PT945
