Switchblade
A switchblade is a thin, small-bladed knife that is concealed in the weapon’s handle and is only sprung when the wielder hits a switch on the grip. Popular with gangs once, switchblades are now mostly passé in the criminal community. Other versions of the switchblade are the butterfly knife and spring knife. Note that this blade is illegal to possess and/or carry in many countries, including much of the United States.
