The PPK is one of the most famous small-caliber autoloaders in existence, thanks to its long-time service in the hands of Her Majesty’s best-known secret agent. The PPK originated in the 1930s as a shortened (“Kurz”) version of the lesscommon Polizei Pistole (“Police Pistol,” Capacity 8+1). Both pistols are also available in .22 LR, .25 ACP and .32 ACP (Damage 1). Several manufacturers produce threaded barrels and suppressors for the PP and PPK, and these are widely available to buyers with the right permits — or enough cash.
