Featherdown

Located deep within the Eld mountain range, Featherdown is the cliffside roost of the Raptoran clan of the same name. Very few know of the settlements existence, as the Raptorans are generally self-sufficient, however there has been some limited trade with the tribes living within the Forenna rainforests, who consider the birdfolk to be guardians of the Ren river whose source lies just outside their land.
Featherdown is effectively set deep into the natural crags of the mountain, with spiralling towers reaching up into the sky. A large open space lies in the centre, used for events and religious worship.
