Aasimar

Aasimar are mortals with a touch of divine influence in their bloodline. Typically an Aasimar is the result of a divine ancestor in their bloodline, but occasionally a newborn will be "chosen" by a divine entity and become Aasimar. While most Aasimar have either human or elvish parents, any race can become a "Godtouched" Aasimar. Regardless of their origin, Aasimar are often revered as a blessing or omen from the gods, and their word is taken as divine regardless of their true intentions or allegiances. Aasimar born into cultures that have rejected the gods may be shunned or outcast. Many Aasimar will seek out whatever divine entity they are linked to, but some will either ignore their heritage, or outright reject it.
The divine touch of an Aasimar can manifest itself in a vast multitude of physical attributes. Glowing eyes, hair or markings on the skin are common, as is the presence of some sort of halo framing the head. Some Aasimar have skin resembling gleaming bronze or other metals, or even that of alabaster marble, with veins of gold. Others have even stranger attributes, seeming alien to other humanoids.

Aasimar can be found across Vandrius, and are not numerous enough to have their own settlement.
