Metahuman
The technical name of a person who displays a Quirk. Official bodies, government workers, and technical documentation tend to refer to individuals with a Quirk this way, whereas the general populace tends to prefer not to.Quirk
A Quirk is a special, superhuman ability an individual can possess. Quirks are generally unique to their user, and are classified in multiple categories. The user is also given one single ability of that said Quirk, rather than many abilities. Quirks originate from the user's body and thus are not wholly extrinsic abilities. For instance, a Quirk could be that an individual gives off light from their body. A Quirk would not be an individual who can use psychic abilities or magic. Quirks often have drawbacks related to their abilities. For instance, a user may be able to make things float by touching all five fingers to them, but if they make themselves float they may get nauseous after prolonged use.Quirkless
Quirkless people exist as a minority in the My Hero Academia universe, possessing absolutely no Quirk, particularly unique features, or anything that would put them under the classification of being superhuman.Remove these ads. Join the Worldbuilders Guild
