Matthew Phillips (a.k.a. Radiance)

Part of Team Empact, Matthew Phillips is one of the incoming freshmen at Gold Academy. Matthew relies heavily upon his teammates within Team Impact who he has been friends with since they were all young children. Matthew is on the autism spectrum and as a result, occasionally has difficulty with social interactions. It is uncommon for him to miss social cues and unintentionally offend others. He exhibits confidence in his own abilities, given the nature of his quirk. He tries to interact with others as best he can but has to course correct often.
