The Inner-Mountain

A massive interconnected cave system within the western mountain ranges of Amberfell and Priet act as a pseudo-kingdom of their own. Although well-integrated now it primarily included dwarves and Underdark elves. Holding a unique and vibrant culture the inner-mountain cities have many musical and culinary practices that are carried across their population. 
The inner-mountain cities also hold a large portion of Vapirielle's fine craftwork. Unique jewelry, pottery and various other art practices come out of the inner-mountains. 
Although relatively safe within the major cities, the inner-mountains are connected to the Underdark leaving many of the outskirt settlements vulnerable. To combat this a conclave of Rangers was created known as The Gloomstalkers, who work to protect the inner-mountain from beasts and monsters that may crawl up into the cities.
