The Willow Bog

A bog at that lies in the northwest region of Stiris, known for the strange trees that grow from its wetlands. Willow trees of sorts that possess a sickly dead looking bark the branches dripping with a black viscous liquid rather than leaves.
The bog is said to be full of strange beasts and hazards lending many to avoid entering. Several settlements and villages rest on the edges of the Bog, harvesting unique resources from within as a means to survive.
