Guiding Lights
Used to help the dead rejoin the cycle by directing spirits back to the stars. This also prevents the dead from becoming Fthorskotos.
Components and tools
Individuals create small wired paper lanterns fueled by hot air from a flame or a Type W hot air enchantments. Decorated with paintings of the deceased, the inks used have powered luminescent Fungi mixed in allowing the images to glow in the dark. These drawings depict positive memorable events of their lives or important messages.
Observance
While the ritual can be done anytime, it is preferred to be performed during the fall and winter seasons when the veil between the living and dead is thinnest.
