Oraclus
Basic Information
Anatomy
All oraclus have two sets of eyes, a main pair and secondary "reading" pair. The secondary eyes are used to read emotion body temperature.
All oraclus have two sets of horns.
Frilled oraclus have large head and neck frills, cheek spines, and a lower back frill that runs along the spine and onto the tail. Their wings are webbed like that of a bat.
Feathered oraclus have head plumage, cheek plumage, lower back plumage that runs along the spine and onto the tail. Their wings are feathered like that of a bird.
Due to their size they are required to learn to anthro morph in order to fit into cities and towns they wish to occupy or visit. Anthro morphing is quite uncomfortable for them.
Biological Traits
Most easily determined by somewhat unnatural color patterns and the largest land and air species on the world. Males are generally larger than females and have a pair of extra long tail feathers that sticks out from the normal shape.
Genetics and Reproduction
The first oraclus created were made due to genetic and magical splicing and incubated in test chambers. 1/3 of the first oraclus created are sterile and cannot reproduce.
After mating females lay 1 large egg that must be incubated for approximately 6 months. After hatching, they can walk and hunt (with practice), flight is learned after a year.
Ecology and Habitats
No specific habitat is needed for oraclus to thrive as they are well suited for most environments.
Dietary Needs and Habits
Oraclus are omnivorous but primarily are carnivores hunting various game and fish. They are also known to enjoy cheeses and fruits but only eat them while dealing with other sentient species in cities or towns.

Clothes are only worn when in an Anthro form while in cities or towns and are dictated by each individuals own tastes.
Culture and Cultural Heritage
Seeing as that the species is still considered young, they do not have much in the way of culture or cultural heritage that is actually their own. The binding ceremony is the only thing unique to them.
Common Customs, Traditions and Rituals
When a young Oraclus comes of age they are dressed in a set of Oraclus Binding Collars. While these collars are not magical like the ones worn by the 1st born, they represent the connection to their species and the promise made by the species.
Common Taboos
The oraclus were created with the purpose to cleanse the world for their master in order to rebuild it in his idea of what perfection should be. All 1st borns were bound, brainwashed, and trained specifically for destruction and without their binding collars can be insanely powerful and dangerous beings.
All of the 1st born oraclus have binding collars and cuffs which wash their memories and brainwashing and restrict their power. They cannot be removed, however all generations after their bindings are purely decorative with no magic. It is considered taboo for their binding collars to be removed as it was part of the standard set by the gods in order for them to have a second chance at life.
Historical Figures

Most other species fear the oraclus due to their involvement in the Cataclysm. Only 80 years have passed since the event and the remnants of the old world still scatter the lands while everyone continues to rebuild. However some oraclus are making a name for good by proving themselves useful and worthy of the second chance the gods gave them.
