Jax Blackwood
Jax is a friendly and outgoing half-orc with a broad build and a warm smile. He's a natural people-person and enjoys chatting with customers about their lives and adventures. He's also fiercely loyal to his boss, the gnomish owner of the cafe, and will do anything to protect the establishment and its patrons.
Jax grew up in a family of adventurers and mercenaries, and he inherited his parents' love of fighting and combat. He worked as a mercenary for several years, but eventually grew tired of the constant violence and decided to settle down in the slums. He found work at the cafe and quickly became known as the most dependable server, always willing to go the extra mile to ensure that his customers were happy.
He is motivated by his desire to protect and care for others. He sees the cafe as a safe haven in the dangerous slums, and he takes his role as the protector of the establishment very seriously. To find a way to reconcile with his estranged half-orc father, who left Jax's mother before he was born.
