Ihromhna
The Ihromhna is a race of protectors of the oceans and keepers of the reefs. They call the Vauxset province home.
Basic Information
Anatomy
On land the Iromhna are a humanoid race with little to no distinguishable physical characteristics, however when they enter a body of water the transform into their 'true form' that of a somewhat anthropomorphic seal. Having the tail of a seal but their upper body retaining humanoid characteristics with a seal like appearance.
Dietary Needs and Habits
Their diet is almost entirely comprised of fish, they do occasionally eat seaweed but not often.

Social Structure
The Iromhna society is a communal thing, their isn't much in the way of a central power, with most decisions being made on a community scale rather than a kingdom wide scale. These decisions are then discussed between community leaders and standardized or refuted. Leaders are chosen by the community as a whole based on proven competence.
Facial characteristics
Round faced and warm-eyed they tend to look very unassuming and jovial. Despite sharing the characteristics of a seal when they are submerged they still retain the aura of welcome and warmth.

They are found in most costal regions though the Vauxset province is home.

They are incredibly knowledgeable and skilled in the field of aquatic agriculture and reef ecology.

They have incredible sight under water, as well as night vision. They are also capable of influencing coral growth and spread as well as health.

Beauty Ideals
They often adorn themselves with pieces of coral or abandoned shells that they have gathered. They also tend to make paints and dyes out of shells and coral debris. which they use for clothing, body paint and trade.

They are fond of all advancements made to aquatic agriculture and to the study of the reef and ways to defend and sustain it.
Common Dress Code
They prefer skirts made of natural and water resistant materials as well as halter style tops of the same.
Culture and Cultural Heritage
They are a very peaceful people though they can be fierce when it is called for. They care deeply for the sea and the balance of life within. They do everything they can to preserve it in all it's beauty and grandeur. They are also a very quiet and family oriented, though community is a large part of their identity.
