The Keshikh are a proud and noble race that resides in the Akuilin Province.

Anatomy

The Keshikh have a humanoid appearance from their heads to about hip level where their serpentine features take over. They also feature four arms and scales in patches across their their humanoid sections.

Social Structure

Keshikh society is one based around mastery of ones skills. One's place in their society is determined by how driven and skilled one is. Positions of power are given to those who have mastered at least one craft and gained a reputation for their hard work and skill.

Facial characteristics

Very serpent like features, a kind of misleading softness to the lines of features. Their eyes are that of a serpents though most often in deep and slightly hypnotizing jewel tones.

Found primarily in Akuilin though master crafters can be found in all corners of the empire.

Beauty Ideals

The Keshikh favor those who show obvious pride in their appearance and in the care of one's self. They also favor the use of makeup among both genders as well as intricate hairstyles and ornamentation.

Common Dress Code

Due to the nature of their appearance most of the Keshikh favor more ornamental and intricate designs to their clothing. Often indulging in embroidered silk vests and chains and jewelry made out of the finest of materials.

Culture and Cultural Heritage

Keshikh as, a whole, are craftsmen and artists. Their culture is one rich with the pursuit of one's artistic ability in a chosen field of study. From jewel craft to weaving and everything in between. They are also a very culinary people though not to the degree of some others. Rich foods have become an art form as trade opened up across the empire with them making a name for themselves in new and innovative ways to use ingredients found across the empire.

The Keshikh are often favored craftsmen given particularly high levels of respect and renown by other races. Their art and creations are used by many of the highest positions of society. Though they do hold a resentment for the Shoqen after a history of being hunted for their scales.

Body Tint, Colouring and Marking
For skin tone they tend to swing widely between pale alabaster coloration and rich olive skin tones, these are always complementary to their scales which are darker color matches for their eyes. Keshikh can have the same markings and patterns as any serpent.
