Notable Places:
- A spire of dark stone, placed to honor a local warrior.
- The Guildhall: An impressive timber and brick building, once an inn house. It contains a large meeting hall and several smaller rooms, and is shared among several local merchant guilds.
- The Celestial Pavilion: A large stone-walled theatre, home of a troupe of illusionist-actors.
- Ardidin: Female Human Woodseller. Ardidin has matted gray hair and amber eyes, and small ears. She wears modest garments and carries a hazel staff. Ardidin is known for her tales of strange things she has discovered in the forest.
- Anadard: Female Human Guard. Anadard has a narrow face, with thick golden hair and blue eyes. She wears scale mail and wields a mace. Anadard was once an adventurer, but retired after her companions were corrupted by a Goddess of Death.
- Mala: Female Human Fishmonger. Mala has uneven brown hair and hazel eyes, and an unusual scar on her arm. She wears simple clothing and a white cloak. Mala claims that her fishes have swum in the River Styx, and ward against the undead.
- Willo: Male Human Thief. Willo is willowy, with black hair and blue eyes. He wears leather armor and wields a dagger and darts. Willo is known for his short temper and sharp tongue.
- Malo: Male Human Thief. Malo is tall, with brown hair and amber eyes. He wears leather armor and wields a short sword and dagger. Malo is known for his impossible luck.
- The Crimson Flail: A fanciful adventurer's inn, known for its impossible variety of beers and ales.
- The Wizard and Axe: A shabby commoner's inn, known for its many secret doors and passages.
- The Pillory of Immortality: A madman has been trapped within this pillory for as long as anyone can remember. He does not age and cannot be freed.
