A Battle of Blood

The culmination of the Taint of Devotion. This was a large-scale battle within the twisting alleys of the Stone Labyrinth that saw Sir Roderick and his bannermen killed, and the Taint of Devotion ended. The battle ended in unparalleled bloodshed as Roderick III let himself be taken over by the Xandrian artifact he possessed, the Bloodlust Plate, in an attempt to turn the odds against his enemies.
