Heartlands

The southern lands that border the Heart, the Heartlands are named so because of the green plains and lush woods given life by the running waters of the Heart. The Heartlands is where both the Lance and the Shield have a southern border, but does not contain as much land as either.
Jorrel Vaele is Duke of Emerald Falls , Iron Lord of the Heartlands, but it is his wife, Arice Vaele, that really rules and has a seat on the Emperor’s Council.
