Newtribe
Established in M’Boukha during the beginning of the Ivory age, and focused on relations with Iron and other cultures, trying to forward the Soleri culture to match. It is entirely made up of younger tribesmen who have grown up in the unique city of M’Boukho and have not experienced tribal life roaming the land alongside animals.
New Tribe is the first to start using steel weapons and armor in Soleri. They hold to many of the old customs, especially around the Soul Tree, but because of their new thoughts the other tribes often hold disdain for them.
They wear patterns that do not match other tribes meanings for them. For example, triangles. Newtribe wears a bundle of mismatched triangles uncaring of their deeper meaning which other tribes find disgraceful. A triangle is the symbol of a girl, an inverted triangle that of a boy traditionally. Joined triangles tip-to-tip indicates a married man, while triangles joined base-to-base indicate a married woman. Newtribe engrosses this and wears as many triangles in whatever fashion they want.
Traditional weapon - a range of possible weapons, usually mimicking those used exclusively in Iron such as halberds and polearms.
COLOR – White (all tribes) – They are distinguishable because of their Iron-esque armor. The people of Newtribe wear gilded breastplates to protect their torso, then leather straps around their legs. Some also wear a long, cloak topped with animal fur. The other tribes believe Newtribe to look down on other Soleri culture because of their wearing of white. White is normally only used in funerals of important Soleri people.
