Nozipho

The Bezoar tribe. This tribe holds a mighty magical secret that they don’t even tell other tribes. The other tribes hear of their unique magic, but do not know how it is done. Nozipho tribespeople are capable of gaining the attributes of various animals that boost their own skill and power. They do this through bezoar magic when an animal’s soul leaks into the indigestible material gathering in their stomachs, and bestows it with power. The Nozipho people possess large herds of various animals in an almost zoo-like manner, carefully breeding and feeding them a special diet to produce the bezoars.
Hairstyles within the Nozipho denote station and age. They use various pastes and products to matte their hair into styles that almost look like large tendrils coming from the tops of their heads. Plaits and braids adorn their heads and their hair is always pasted bright colors. Most traditionally, their hair is red, the color of baked dirt. The Nozipho also always carry a small sack on one side of their hip, and their whip on the other, but are most notable for their red, pasted hairtstyles of plaits and braids.
