The Ivory Wall

The Ivory Wall is the single most iconic part of Vaskeer’s physical setting, other than the Burn. It stands around 3000 feet tall, and rivals the tips of the Virnach Mountains. They are made of a white marble that looks like Ivory, and is always pristine and shining, despite the centuries it has stood for. Dirt slides off it, and no damage can be done to it. It is what separates Vaskeer from the rest of the world, and has no gates. Guarding the tops of the wall are majestic dragons, ridden by figures in full plate armor. • Insignia for a House crest. • A national sign of fortitude since all know the Ivory Wall is impenetrable. Some Highlanders say they are as impenetrable as the Ivory Wall. • Creates less daylight throughout the day no matter what part of Vaskeer you are from. It is lessened in Soleri, where they are the farthest from the Wall. In areas close to the Wall, such as the Highlands, the times of dawn and twilight are much more significant. Dawn and Twilight are a time of deep shadow cast by the Wall, the land in an unnatural darkness. The sky becomes a mix of purple and orange, and the Burn becomes less prominent as it transitions between night and day.
