Agios

The Agios, also called the Temple Guards, are the guards and soldiers of the Meridian Church. While they primarily focus on keeping the peace in the Cathedral District, they also have smaller factions dedicated to the hunting of cultists and heretics. They are often at odds with the Argent Orders, but the Argent worship gods who are nominally accepted, even if the Meridian see them as lesser entities not worthy of dedicated worship. The real enemy of the Agios are those who worship powerful Orphic entities, or the cults that have grown around the Abyss' slumbering Gods.
