Tovaras Hounds

The Tovaras Hounds are large, Wolflike hounds native to the northern Gallus Woods in Thaal. They are usually grey or white, and have long, shaggy fur and long snouts. Standing three feet at the shoulders and often well over 250 pounds, they are the largest breed of non-supernatural dog. Trainers in Thaal will form life-long bonds with the hounds, with many perfoming a shamanistic ritual that will bind them and their hound's life-force together, allowing the hound to live as long as they do.
